Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (VCServer Network KG, Buchenring 1, 38154 Königslutter am Elm, Germany, email: billing@vc-server.eu) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email).
You may use the attached sample withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract.

For the reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you requested that the provision of services begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the time you informed us of your exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared to the total scope of services provided for in the contract.

Exclusion or Premature Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires in the case of service contracts if the service has been fully performed and performance began only after you gave your express consent and simultaneously acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the contract had been fully performed.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and which are made on the basis of an individual choice or specification by the consumer, or that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

This particularly applies to:

– domain registration according to customer specifications,
– individually configured server or hosting solutions,
– the development or customization of software according to customer requirements.
