Two locations – one infrastructure for maximum availability
Our colocation sites in Frankfurt am Main and Wolfsburg form the backbone of our managed hosting infrastructure in Germany.
Both data centres complement each other perfectly – ensuring maximum availability, short network paths, and the highest level of security.
The Frankfurt site (FRA1 – NTT Global Data Centers) offers state-of-the-art technology and one of the best network connections in Europe.
Thanks to its central location in Germany and direct proximity to international internet exchange points, your projects benefit from extremely low latency and stable, high-speed connectivity – both nationally and internationally.
Our second site in Wolfsburg adds additional redundancy and flexibility to this infrastructure.
With our direct dark fibre connection between Frankfurt and Wolfsburg, data and services can be mirrored or distributed across sites – ideal for high-availability and geo-redundant setups.
When selecting and expanding our data centres, we focus on quality, security, and efficiency – so you can always rely on consistent, dependable performance.
Data Centre Frankfurt

NTT GLOBAL DATA CENTERS EMEA - RÖDELHEIM
In Frankfurt am Main, we operate our infrastructure across two physically separate buildings on the NTT campus, located approximately 200 metres apart.
Both colocation sites are built entirely independently and provide the highest level of reliability and availability.
The sites are directly connected via redundant cross-connects – with latency so low, it’s as if all systems were housed in the same building.
This allows us to run backup and storage systems in separate facilities, ensuring optimal data protection.
The campus stands out with state-of-the-art infrastructure, energy-efficient design, and on-site technical staff available around the clock.
- A total of 52,000 m² of IT space
- Flexible usage options – from individual racks and cages to fully equipped suites or shell & core solutions
- Additional areas such as offices, storage space, and pre-installation rooms
- Shared facilities including meeting rooms and a catering area
- Each data centre building features its own independent technical zones
- Pre-spliced dark fibre available on request
- Redundant cabling routes ensuring reliable connectivity
- Rapid cross-connect provisioning through pre-cabling

- IT load per building: 8 to 12 MW
- Power density: 1–3 kW per m²
- Two completely separate UPS systems (A and B feed) with 2N redundancy
- Diesel generators provide emergency power backup for each building, with a fuel reserve for 72 hours of continuous operation
The cooling concept is based on high-efficiency chiller systems with integrated free cooling and separate dry coolers.
A specially developed water-based energy management system ensures sustainable and efficient operation.
Air circulation is managed by energy-optimised ventilation and exhaust systems with variable speed control and humidity regulation.
To maintain precise humidity levels within the IT areas, energy-efficient humidification and dehumidification systems are used.
A redundant chilled-water and cooling circuit with frequency-controlled pumps guarantees reliable operation.
Additionally, heat recovery is utilised to warm office spaces and preheat power supply systems.
- 24/7 staffed security and operations centre
- Multi-level security zone concept with standardised procedures for monitoring all critical systems

- Vehicle protection bollards compliant with BS PAS 68:2013
- Access control via digital key cards
- Ongoing risk assessments and regular training for operational staff
The fire detection system includes digital detectors and air sampling systems (RAS) on all levels.
Early detection systems (VESDA) continuously monitor the return airflows.
Fire suppression is handled by gas-based extinguishing systems using argon or nitrogen.
All buildings are protected by fire-resistant walls with a minimum thickness of 90 mm.

Hosting in Germany – at the Highest Level
With our colocations in Frankfurt am Main and Wolfsburg, you benefit from state-of-the-art infrastructure, multi-certified data centres, and hosting made in Germany – reliable, secure, and fast.
Certifications
Our data centre locations hold a wide range of recognised certifications.
These ensure that all requirements for security, availability, and redundancy are consistently met.
In the past, companies had to send detailed questionnaires to data centre operators to verify these points.
Today, certifications take over that role – confirming that a data centre meets defined and audited standards.
All certificates are regularly reviewed and renewed, ensuring you can always rely on the highest level of quality.
Energy Efficiency
As energy costs continue to rise, we deliberately choose data centre locations that operate with highly efficient power and cooling technologies.
This ensures your servers remain cost-effective and future-proof in the long term.
Our data centres achieve a PUE value between 1.1 and 1.6 – significantly better than the current industry average of 1.8.
The PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) metric takes into account the total energy consumption of the UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and other facility components such as lighting and office areas.
On-site Hardware Stock
Even with the best technology, occasional hardware failures can occur.
To minimise downtime in such cases, we maintain a comprehensive spare parts inventory at each of our data centre locations.
This includes mainboards, hard drives, SSDs, CPUs, RAID controllers, and network cards – always in matching or newer generations to those used in our dedicated servers.
This ensures you’re back online quickly, without having to wait for replacements from the manufacturer.
All component replacements are carried out on-site by our technicians.
Network Connectivity
We work exclusively with renowned carriers that provide excellent network performance and low latency connections.
We regularly analyse the routing of your data traffic and actively identify optimisation opportunities through targeted peering or direct interconnections.
Our Frankfurt am Main location plays a central role in this:
Most major network providers are represented here, allowing us to continuously expand our network capacity while maintaining an optimal price-to-performance ratio.
